Dru Yoga Foundation Course

This 48 hour course (4 weekends - one a month) is designed to explore yoga in more depth. It includes practical and theoretical work including:
 
> Learn the 5 stage approach
    to Dru Yoga
> The principle of Activation to
    warm up the body
> The benefits of Energy Block
    Release Sequences
> The importance of Core Stability
    in movement
> Psychic anatomy – the chakras
> The 5 Koshas – our 5 levels of
    existence
> An introduction to Patanjali
   Yoga Sutras and the Bhagavad Gita
> Powerful postures and
    flowing sequences
> Pranayama – the power of the breath
> The importance of relaxation
> The power of meditation

 

Who is it for?
It is intended for students who would like to develop their knowledge of yoga further and also for those wanting to train as teachers to provide them with the basics and an introduction to our diploma course.

The course will be run at Hilton Hall, Hilton Lane, Essington, Nr Wolverhampton, WV11 2BQ
